This used to be my favorite movie when I was a child. My brother and I would dress up like ninjas all the time because of this movie. This movie can out in 1985, so that made me 12 yrs old. I went to rent a movie the other day and decided to see what previewed movies they had for sale and the first thing I saw was American Ninja. I didn’t even hesitate, I just grabbed it and bought it. Only $9.95. What a steal to relive some childhood memories. It was just as great and cheesy as I remember it. Horrible action and bad dialogue. Amazing ninja moves. Best line in the movie: “There is no such thing as an American Ninja”. I am gonna be on the lookout for parts 2 and 3. Now, if they would only put The Legend of Billie Jean out on dvd. Why is that not available is beyond me. “Where is Billie Jean?” “Everywhere!”
