The (Fucking) Jesus and Mary Chain
Ok so they reunited last year for Coachella, but there’s more. New album, more touring. Hell yes. I saw them once before they called it quits and only one brother was there. One of my all time favorite bands (we did a cover of Head On on Ledaswan’s new album). I remember watching Night tracks when I was young and jamming out to the video for Head On. They are apparently coming out with a new album due next spring/summer.

My Bloody Valentine
The rumors have been around for a long time of a reunion, but nothing has ever come of it (maybe a song on a soundtrack) until now. Apparently they scheduled some shows and they immediately sold out in minutes in the UK. They start recording next month. As I said above: new records means a tour. The last record was in 1991!

Hasn’t been as long for them as these other guys, but it’s still a cool thing. Everyone knows “More than Words”, but who remembers classics like “Mutha (Don’t Wanna Go To School Today)” and “Kid Ego”. By the way, Nuno Bettancourt is a Guitar God
